"My practice is limited to the area of my specialty – prosthodontics. This limitation enables me to spend the amount of time necessary to fulfill the needs of my patients. You, the patient, will be treated with great respect. Your situation will be analyzed comprehensively and with thoroughness and your actual treatment will be accomplished with the highest quality materials and by a highly competent dental practitioner. My practice depends on patient satisfaction. Be assured, this is my goal and philosophy."

Ron Crume, Jr.

Dr. Crume was born and raised in Northern Kentucky. His sister tagged him with the nickname "Baby Bear" at 2 weeks old from the popular nursery rhyme "Goldielocks and the Three Bears." One day he felt too old to be called a baby, so the name "Bear" stuck. Dr. Crume is a 2nd generation dentist, following his father’s lead.

Dr. Crume graduated from Boone County High School in 1980. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984 from Wake Forest University and a dental (DMD) degree in 1988 from the University of Louisville. Dr. Crume practiced general dentistry with his father in Florence until returning to University of Louisville in 1992 for advanced training in prosthodontics. His academic experience was completed in 1995 with a year long prestigious fellowship in maxillofacial prosthodontics at The Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
